In Gorno-Altaisk the meeting with experts of the Center of the World heritage of UNESCO took place. They arrived to the Republic Altai for condition studying in which there is an object of the world natural heritage "Altai - Golden Mountains", in particular a plateau Ukok.

Each year, six activists are chosen from around the world – one from each inhabited region – to be honored for their "sustained and significant efforts to protect and enhance the natural environment, often at great personal risk."
